Yoga has been a part of my life since moving to Milwaukee in 1995, practicing at gyms and various studios very infrequently until I owned a business that had me working 24/7 - even when I wasn't physically working, my brain was working. Yoga became more important and a way of finding time that was just for me. My practice at that time was strictly power based, I eventually incorporated Iyengar, Restorative, Yin, and Vinyasa into my practice time on the mat.
I received my 200 hour training in Bali, Indonesia, February 2013 and have logged many continuing ed hours since, and very excited to add another 100 hours in 2017 in Vancouver, BC.
What I hope to offer students is a space to feel good about themselves, to encourage the strength, breath, love and light within them to move them in ways that make them feel good when they leave. Alignment, strength and breath is what I encourage students to use in classes, reminding them to let go of ego and have some fun. The only true thing you need for your practice is your breath.....and to walk through the door. I hope to have the honor of meeting you soon. Namaste.
