CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

VINYASA FLOW (75 MIN, non heated) The focus in this class is on flowing from pose to pose and linking your movement with your breath. In most Vinyasa classes you will start with a centering  and warm up and than flow through various sequencing.  This class is a great challenge for any level practitioner. You can gain many wonderful benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility.  Vinyasa classes will typically finish with a mediation in Savasana, so it is great for calming the mind as well. 

HOT VINYASA FLOW (75 MIN) This is a Vinyasa Flow class in a heated room. The room usually warms up to 95 degrees with 30-40% humidity.  It can get nice and toasty to ensure your muscles are warmed up and ready to stretch.  You WILL sweat.  This class will offer many incredible benefits including;  increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility.  The heat aids in warming the body and increasing detoxification through sweat.  This class is open to all levels of practitioner.  We encourage anyone to try.  Keep in mind you might want to take it easy your first several classes as you get used to the heat.  

GENTLY HEATED VINYASA FLOW (75 MIN) This is a Vinyasa Flow class in a room that is heated to about 80-85 degrees with 30-40% humidity.

GENTLY HEATED INTERMEDIATE VINYASA FLOW (75 MIN) This is a Vinyasa Flow Class geared for yogis that have a few or more classes under their belts.  You will be given an opportunity to try some fun asanas that can be a little more advanced.  Think arm balances, inversions and creative sequencing that can challenge you both mentally and physically.  The main focus, like all of our yoga classes, will be on linking your breath with movement and moving with good form and proper alignment to the best of your ability.  While this class is structured for students that have a little more experience, we would love to see all students try any of our classes.  If you are new to yoga and would still like to take this class, plan to slow it down or take breaks when you need to.  This class is done in a room that is heated to about 80-85 degrees with 30-40% humidity.

SLOW FLOW (75 MIN, non heated) This class is a deliberate and slower-paced Vinyasa Flow. It can be ideal for yogis just starting out or those that want to hone their practice and postures. All levels are encouraged to partake.

CANDLELIGHT SLOW FLOW (75 MIN, non heated)  This is our slow flow class done to the low glow of candlelight.  Enjoy this thoughtful and deliberate Vinyasa Flow on Sunday's as a way to wind down from your weekend and refuel for your week ahead.  Expect to work hard and enjoy stillness and ease.  All levels welcome and encourages to participate!

GENTLY HEATED SLOW FLOW (75 MIN) This is our Slow Flow class in a room that is heated to about 80-85 degrees with 30-40% humidity.

HOT YOGA POWER HOUR (60 MIN) This class is a fun and powerful burst of yoga.  The Power Hour combines yoga with strength elements done in a room heated to about 95 degrees with 30-40% humidity.  You will move quickly to upbeat music for a great cardiovascular workout.  You are sure to stretch, strengthen, compress, and tone every single part of your body. You will sweat buckets and it is only one hour!  All levels are welcome, please make sure to take it easy your first several classes as you get used to the heat.  

GENTLY HEATED POWER HOUR (60 MIN)  This is our our Power Hour Class done in a room that is heated to about 80-85 degrees with 30-40% humidity. 

HOT YOGA SCULPT (60 MIN) This class is similar to the Power Hour.  You will work every component of your body in this playful twist on yoga. Using thoughtful movements with weights done in a heated room, you are sure to get a good workout.   This class is done in a room heated to about 95 degrees with 30-40% humidity.  All levels are welcome, remembering to take it easy your first couple of classes.  Weights are optional.  We will provide 5 lb weights but, you are welcome to bring your own weights anywhere between 3 Lbs and 8 Lbs is ideal. 

GENTLY HEATED PRIMAL POWER HOUR (60 MIN) Let's get wild! Primal Power Hour focuses on incorpeating animal based movements with traditional yoga asana to increase mobility, endurance, and strength.  These primal movements encourage our bodies to move fluidly in all directions expanding flexibility, power, and mind/body awareness.  Plus, it's fun!  This class is done in a room that is heated to about 80-85 degrees with 30-40% humidity.   

YIN YOGA (75  MIN, non heated) This class will take you beyond your muscles into your connective tissues such as your ligaments, tendons, bones, and joints.  You will hold postures for several minuets each and we will provide bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps to support your body.  Our Yin classes can be physically challenging as you open up, but, they will have an element of restoration at the end. Overall this class is meant to relax your muscles and still your outer and inner self. Through finding ease in these supported postures students may journey inward into a deep state of calm.  This class balances and deepens yang styles of yoga such as all of the hot and warm classes we offer.

YIN YANG HAPPY HOUR (75 MIN, non heated)  This is a special monthly Yin Yang class followed by a little bit of social time to kick off the weekend. Enjoy a decompressing class and stay for complementary happy hour treats and celebrate the weekend with other lovely yogis.  This class will be held on the 3rd Friday of each month 5:45pm-7pm.  This class is $15 and advanced registration is recommended! 


*We recommend you use a large towel to cover your yoga mat during our hot and gently heated yoga classes to prevent slipping on your mat.  We have towels for rent or purchase at the studio, or feel free to bring your own!  Also, please hydrate very well before and after all yoga classes, especially our classes that are heated!  Enjoy, and sweat the small stuff!
