In a society that thrives off of busy schedules and endless to-do lists, we tend to struggle with taking time for rest. Intentional rest carries many benefits and opens up space within the body.
Restorative yoga is a practice that allows your muscles too deeply relax by using props to support your body in each pose. Using props rather than your muscles to support your body creates a sense of effortlessness within. This practice can allow the nervous system to shift out of stress, improve blood circulation, support the immune system, deeply soften muscles etc.
This workshop will offer time in each supported pose, with individual attention for what your body needs within the group experience.
Participants will be guided through supported poses, breathing exercises, and different forms of meditation.
