THIS OFFERING IS AT OUR WEST ALLIS LOCATION, 6679 W. National Ave
Join guest instructor Michael Kolander for an evening of breath work/meditation on Wednesday September 24th from 7:00-8:15 pm at Healium Hot Yoga-West Allis.
Breathletics has been called “meditation for those who can’t meditate” — expect beat-forward loud music, listening with your eyes covered and your mind open. For 30 minutes, you will be performing a breath technique that involves deep double inhales with a single exhale thru the mouth that is put to the beat of the music helping to take away your “conscious” and elevate your “subconscious.”
Please keep in mind that the class is done at your own pace, and one that you are comfortable with. You are encouraged to slow down or stop the breathwork it you feel dizzy or too uncomfortable to continue. Once you feel like you can continue, please rejoin the breathwork when you can. If you want to discontinue the breath work all together, simply breathe in through your nose at a controlled pace and wait for the connected breathwork session to finish.
***Please note the following contraindications and cautions***
You should not be doing breathwork if you are pregnant or have cardiovascular disease.
