Join Heather Burkart, eRYT500, on Saturday October 10th from 8:00am-5:00pm at Healium Hot Yoga-Bay View’s Cozy Studio for AstroYoga: Lunar Practices & Planetary Flows.
This all-day intensive introduces the fascinating intersection of yoga and Vedic astrology, offering a unique lens for understanding how celestial forces influence the body, mind, and energetic system. Participants will explore the planetary energies and their corresponding qualities, or “cosmic doshas,” and how they interact with the chakras, emotional patterns, and physical constitution. The session also includes an introduction to the nakshatras (lunar constellations) and the rhythms of the moon phases, providing insight into how these cycles shape energy, intention, and practice. By learning how to interpret these influences through a yogic lens, trainees and practitioners will discover how to create more intuitive, personalized yoga practices that align with both their birth chart and the shifting rhythms of the cosmos.
*Important: Credit can be applied towards the 300 hour teaching certification or Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credit, not both. To receive 300 hour credit, you must be formally enrolled in Healium’s 300 hour advanced training program prior to this class.
