This event is a Healium 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Module; it is also available for 7 Continuing Education Credits* with Yoga Alliance.
Join Bethany Zebell, eRYT 500, on Saturday December 20th from 8:00am-4:00pm at Healium Restore for Restorative and Yin Yoga Training.
This day-long module will deeply explore Restorative and Yin yoga poses which provide a deep stretch and facilitate relaxation. They can be a strong foundation for a stand-alone class or a welcome close to any style of class. We will learn how to develop a well-rounded class that addresses the major physical landmarks, discuss the physiology of Restorative and Yin asanas and their effect on the nervous system as well as the physical body, learn to teach essential postures effectively and how to offer modifications plus the expert use of props. Enrollees will demonstrate their knowledge through practice-teaching a series of Restorative and Yin asanas they have sequenced for specific benefits.
*Important: Credit can be applied towards the 300 hour teaching certification or Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credit, not both. To receive 300 hour credit, you must be formally enrolled in Healium’s 300 hour advanced training program prior to this class.
